It was set up in 2000 with the objective to motivate and merchandize the cultural production as well as promotes environmental issues.

This Institute is an initiative from Hotel Fazenda Mazzaropi located in the same place where Amácio Mazzaropi built the studio PAM Films in the 70s.

Today, besides the comfort, well being and the history preservation the hotel is considered one of the best in its category.

In 1992 Mazzaropi’s Museum was built in order to preserve and spread the artist’s memory. Since then, thousands of tourists, school schedules visit the museum. More than 6000 documents about the artist were gathered together and are in permanent exhibition, besides being a reference to researchers. The incentive to research helped many publishers, studies, articles which suggest deeper importance to the artist Mazzaropi. The site www.museumazzaropi.com.br, created in 1997, has also been a fundamental source for publish and research about the artist.

Educational and cultural initiatives, besides cooperation agreement with other entities are part of a proposal, which overcomes the hotel business area. In this way, the Hotel Fazenda Mazzaropi and Mazzaropi Institute hope to contribute in such a consistent way, not elitist to expand the culture and preserve the environment in our country.
